Can ChatGPT Make NSFW Video? An Adult Alternative

5 min read

By Nureta TeamUpdated November 7, 2026

No. ChatGPT does not make explicit adult video, and OpenAI built its video model, Sora, to block sexual content and nudity. OpenAI also discontinued the Sora app on 26 April 2026. If you want adult video, use a platform made for it: on Nureta, an 18+ AI video platform, a story or script alone becomes a video of up to about 3 minutes, with no photos needed, and your first video is free when you sign in with Google. This guide explains what OpenAI allows, why, and what to use instead, as of November 2026.

Nureta is the No.1 unfiltered NSFW AI video platform, trusted by 50,000+ users. Text to video and image to video, up to 3 minutes.

Can ChatGPT or Sora make adult or NSFW video?

No. OpenAI's usage policies treat sexual content and nudity as disallowed categories for its video model. The Sora 2 system card, which OpenAI published in September 2025, says Sora 2 scanned video frames, scene descriptions and audio transcripts to block content that broke those rules, with stricter safeguards when a real person appeared. Prompts that ask for explicit scenes are refused, and so are attempts to get around the filter.

ChatGPT itself is a chat assistant. Its own image tools follow the same OpenAI policies. In October 2025, OpenAI said it planned to allow erotica for verified adults in ChatGPT; news reports in March 2026 said that plan had been put on hold. Check OpenAI's current usage policies before you rely on any change. For explicit video, OpenAI's tools are not an option today.

Why does OpenAI block sexual content?

OpenAI serves a very wide audience: students, businesses, developers and app stores, in many countries. One set of rules has to work for all of them, so the safest line for a general-purpose product is to keep explicit content out. Realistic video carries more risk than text, because a video can look like a real person and spread far beyond the chat where it was made.

Likeness and age are the two biggest concerns. A general tool cannot easily tell whether the person in a prompt or a photo is an adult who agreed to appear in adult content. Blocking sexual content as a whole is simpler than checking consent and age for every request. That is a reasonable choice for a general product; it only means that adult creators need a different tool.

What should you use instead for adult video?

Use a platform where adult content is the product and the rules are written for it. Nureta is an 18+ AI video platform. It turns text into video: paste a story, a scene or a script, and it becomes a movie with no photos needed. It also turns images into video: add up to 2 photos of consenting adults to cast the characters, and the same faces appear in every scene. Videos run from 5 seconds up to about 3 minutes, with sound, in a realistic or anime style.

You do not have to choose a model: Nureta picks the model for each shot, so you write the story and it handles the rest. If you want more control, Edit mode on the confirm step lets you upload your own first frame, last frame or both for any shot of a video longer than 15 seconds. There is also a catalog of 300+ ready-made scenes in 50+ categories, if you want a starting point instead of a blank page. Developers can use the Nureta Developer API, with 480p to 1080p video, pinned first and last frames and per-shot storyboard control.

What does Nureta still refuse?

Adult does not mean anything goes. Nureta prohibits minors, including fictional minors, non-consensual content, real people without their consent, and public figures and celebrities. Photos that look like a celebrity or public figure are rejected automatically, and you must confirm that you are 18 or older before you generate.

A photo may show only an adult who agreed to adult content, for example yourself or a partner who explicitly said yes; uploading one means you confirm that consent. Videos are private by default. Payment is USDC on Base only, so no adult merchant appears on a bank statement, and you can delete your account and its videos from Account settings at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Does ChatGPT allow NSFW content?
Not for explicit images or video. OpenAI's usage policies list sexual content and nudity among the disallowed categories for its video model, and its tools refuse explicit requests. In October 2025, OpenAI said it planned to allow erotica for verified adults in ChatGPT, but news reports in March 2026 said that plan was on hold. Check OpenAI's current policies for any change.
Is Sora still available?
OpenAI discontinued the Sora app and website on 26 April 2026. While it ran, its policies prohibited explicit sexual content. A list that still recommends Sora for adult video is out of date.
Do I need to write a perfect prompt for Nureta?
No. Paste a story, a scene or a script in plain words. Nureta plans the shots, picks the model and keeps the same characters across scenes. If you want more control, you can edit the storyboard before it renders, or upload your own first and last frames in Edit mode for videos longer than 15 seconds.
How much does Nureta cost?
Your first video is free when you sign in with Google, with no card; it is 5 seconds at 480p and carries a small Nureta watermark. After that, a 5-second video costs $1.29 at 480p, $2.58 at 720p or $3.87 at 1080p, or you can buy credit bundles from $3.79 (30 credits) to $39.99 (440 credits). Payment is USDC on Base. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
