What happens to the old version?
A fix does not overwrite your video. When Fix a part finishes, the result is a new version, and the version you had before stays in your account.
A fix can turn out better than the clip you had, or not as good. If it is not as good, nothing is lost: the old version is still there.
Switching between versions
Switching back to the old version is free and instant.
Because switching is free, you can try a fix and keep whichever version you like more. A fix of a long video remakes only the clips you pick, and a fix of a short video remakes its one clip after you say what is wrong. Downloading each version
Each version can be downloaded. If you want to keep both the old version and the new one, download both. Your videos are private by default.
How long are your photos kept?
If you add photos to a video, they are kept only as long as a fix may need them. A photo used in a delivered video, and the processed copy at the video provider, are deleted 3 days after the video is delivered. That is why the fix window is also 3 days.
Other uploads are deleted within 72 hours. If you delete a video, or your whole account, its photos are deleted at once. The one exception is a background photo of a place that you choose to save to your Library. Photos of people are never saved to the Library.
